Dr. Huang received his MS in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University and PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky. He has been a member of Dr. Zhang’s Lab since Case Western time and has contributed to the National Sleep Research Resource (NSRR; R24 HL114473) project and to the Informatics and Data Analytics Core for the NINDS-funded Center for SUDEP Research (U01 NS090408). He has been working on developing FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data infrastructure for BICAN. He contributed to the creation of BRAIN Initiative’s NIMP portal: Neuroanatomy-anchored Information Management Platform for Collaborative BICAN Data Generation (RRID:SCR_024684). This experience directly aligns with the proposed project's goals of developing standardized CDEs for AD/ADRD research. His technical skills in database development and ontological systems will contribute to the project's aims of developing CDEs and creating a comprehensive Web Portal for dissemination. Working closely with Drs. Liu, Cui, and Zhang, he will help bridge the gap between technical implementation and clinical needs through close collaboration with AD/ADRD researchers and clinician scientists. His experience in developing user-friendly interfaces will be valuable for creating accessible tools for CDE adoption and implementation.
