Dr. Jiang is a Christopher Sarofim family professor and center director of Secure Artificial intelligence for hEalthcare (SAFE) in the McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He is an associate editor of BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making and serves as an editorial board member of the Journal of American Medical Informatics Association. His expertise is primarily in health data privacy and predictive models in biomedicine based on his Computer Science Ph.D. training from Carnegie Mellon University. He will work with the MPIs to exploit beneficial synergies between BRIDGE2AI and the ReCARDO Research Network and serve as a member of ReCARDO Steering Committee, as well as participate in relevant Work Streams.
