Trudy Krause

Dr. Krause is an Associate Professor in the department of Policy, Management and Community Health at UTHealth Houston. She has extensive experience in the private sector as a hospital administrator, clinician, and data scientist. She joined the faculty at UTHealth in 2014 to build the Health Data Center and to lead service and research projects utilizing health care data within the center. Dr. Krause has been instrumental in expanding the center, attaining certification and national recognition, and building the infrastructure of the center. She will contribute expertise in managing and analyzing real-world data, particularly in Medicare claims, EHR data.
